Guys,

Why don't we post a small biog about how we are using our DM2000s? Here's mine:

The DM2000 (V2.01) is the heart of my recording studio and is used for digital patching and mix summing for my Nuendo workstation. It is fully loaded with 4 x MY16AT ADAT I/O and 2 x MY16AE AES I/O. I also have the new Add on effects but until now, Studio manager hasn't been hyperthreading compatible ..... the Studio connections vibe looks like a real winner.

We are only recording and mixing ROCK music ... so no POST stuff.

The first things that struck me with the DM2000 were:

1) Build quality ... typical Yamaha top quality. I reckon I could run over the DM2000 with a tank and it would still be working!
2) The onboard ADC and DAC are great quality and every bit as good as the previous generation Apogee boxes.
3) The actual SOUND of the desk is very open and expensive sounding, although I am not a fan of the EQ in either option.
